Top N Firefox Plugins

I suppose once you begin blogging it’s only a matter of time till you start posting lists of your favourite things, usually Firefox extensions. Here are my top N.

  2. Disable .xpi install delay
  3. Mouse Gestures
  4. FireFTP
  5. Customisegoogle
  6. Adblock Plus
  7. Google Notebook
  8. Greasemonkey
  9. Gmail Manager
  10. del.icio.us complete
  11. Tab Catalogue
  12. Download them all
  13. PDF Download
  14. Add Bookmark Here

That should save me some time next time I reinstall my PC or end up using someone else’s.

    My favourites are:

    ColorZilla - has a colour picker for HTML colours, plus also highlights the ID and size of HTML elements on the page.
    Nuke Anything - right click and get rid of elements on the page (i.e. that massive picture of a half naked woman etc.)
    Adblock Filterset.G Updater - updates your adblock settings automatically
    Flashblock - blocks Flash until you enable each individual Flash element - stops sound from automatically starting up etc.
    Html Validator - validates that your pages are compliant to their doctype and highlights problems in the source view
    IE View - for when you’re on Windows and you want / need to open a page in IE (for testing etc.)
